Sandra Wood is the founder of Wood’s Research. After practicing optometry for 20 years and an executive MBA degree, Sandra studied for a Master of Information Science degree at University of Toronto. Concurrently doing a multimedia certificate from Digital Media Studios, she developed web-based training and classroom Internet training. Research included corporate and patient information and healthcare information systems, as well as user interface and participant observation. She participates in app prototyping and user interface development with Allyson, manages app assets in Xcode, & handles the app submission process. Allyson Woodrooffe is a MA candidate at York University in Interdisciplinary Studies. After studying and making films for several years, Allyson began working with glass in the early 1990s. She created commissioned pieces and also worked as an assistant to glass artist Pattie Walker. Together they built the walls that formed the Protocol Lounge at the, then, newly-built Metro Hall. She has been a freelance graphic and web designer for over 15 years, through her company word.com. Recent collaborations with Sandra Wood have led her onto the unending path of iPhone App Development.
